It started in Soho, New York. In the spring of 1978, Cove & Kettle was founded as a humble neighborhood hardware and kitchen supply store by Robert and Evelyn Cove. In an era when cheap, disposable items were beginning to fill kitchen cabinets, they made a promise to only stock products of exceptional build and timeless utility.
For nearly half a century, we've remained a family-owned business. We work directly with master blacksmiths, artisanal woodworkers, and premium manufacturers across the United States and Europe to source cookware, bakeware, knives, and linens that perform as beautifully as they look.
